These magical stones are not always threat to anyone. If you are not their type, they just let you go and do nothing, like in this case - if you don't have a drop of a royal blood in your veins, the stone doesn't work, otherwise you get some powerz. But if the story of stones tells you that sorcerers king and queen lived happily with these gems and died the same day, maybe it isn't just random phrase for a happy ending.
Finally an animation! Yeah, I thought about using the SWF from the After Effects, but there are so much things that make it impossible to work without rasterizing the whole image. So it is a gif, and I'm kinda lucky that dA has a limit of 30 Mbs with my file being 29.1 Mb. Well, and if we talk about speed, it is a tough restriction too - you have to cut everything shorter.
I'll post the ordinary static version later.
